Clean logistics startup secures oversubscribed funding round to transform delivery networks | Economic Times

ILine.ai Solutions has secured $500,000 in oversubscribed angel funding from climate-tech and mobility investors to transform last-mile logistics across India’s Tier-2 cities. The startup launched its dual-app platform in April 2024, connecting businesses with eco-conscious delivery drivers using electric vehicles.

“Clean mobility is no longer a niche—it’s the new industry baseline,” said Prakash Dwivedi, founder and CEO of ILine.ai.

Strategic Expansion Across Regional Markets

The company plans to deploy funds strategically across three key areas. Fifty-five percent will support regional expansion into twelve Tier-2 cities including Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, and Surat. Another 25 percent goes toward expanding its driver network, while the remaining capital enhances AI systems and marketing partnerships.

Tier-2 cities need different logistics solutions than major metropolitan areas. ILine is tailoring clean logistics to local market needs through partnerships with state transport authorities, EV manufacturers, and NGOs. The company will establish two regional operations hubs to support this expansion.

AI-Powered Route Optimization Technology

ILine’s AI-powered dispatch system optimizes routes and reduces idle time, cutting operational costs and emissions for delivery partners. The platform includes real-time tracking, carbon savings analytics, and OTP-based delivery verification.

The system monitors carbon footprint in real-time and minimizes idle vehicle hours while optimizing multi-drop routes. Drivers can lower operating costs through electric vehicles while improving income predictability through platform optimization features.

Ambitious Growth Targets for Clean Delivery

The startup aims to onboard 20,000 EV delivery drivers across its network, representing significant scale-up from current operations. “ILine targets 30,000 daily orders across its 12-city network by Q4 2026,” aligning with India’s broader sustainability goals.

Enterprise clients can showcase green credentials to customers through carbon savings analytics. The platform’s real-time tracking improves customer satisfaction while carbon savings help businesses report environmental impact accurately, supporting CSR initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts.

Market Positioning in Sustainable Logistics

Organizations face growing pressure to implement sustainable practices as India’s evolving environmental regulations make clean logistics more critical. ILine positions itself as a scalable alternative to fossil-fuel-based delivery.

FMCG and e-commerce brands increasingly need green logistics partners. These collaborations aim to drive EV adoption while creating jobs. Local economies could benefit from improved logistics infrastructure, according to Telematics Wire coverage.

Investment Signals Sector Confidence

The funding round signals investor confidence in clean mobility solutions for Tier-2 cities. Regional operations hubs will improve service quality and response times, while local partnerships with transport authorities could streamline regulatory processes.

For logistics companies, ILine’s approach demonstrates scalable clean mobility solutions combining electric vehicles and AI optimization to develop competitive advantages through cost efficiency and reduced environmental impact. Businesses can expand delivery networks beyond major metropolitan areas cost-effectively while reducing delivery costs and meeting sustainability targets simultaneously.
