The government now provides 34,381 GPUs through the IndiaAI Compute Portal at just 7 per GPU-hour. That’s nearly one-third of global market rates. The government covers 40% of infrastructure costs, making advanced AI development accessible to AI startups in India for the first time.

The mission currently funds 30 AI applications across governance, healthcare, and climate initiatives. Under the IndiaAI Startups Global Program, 10 Indian AI startups are receiving training in Europe to expand into continental markets.
Companies like PrivaSapien Technologies and Secure Blink are developing privacy and cybersecurity solutions with global reach. This European expansion program positions Indian AI startups as serious contenders in international markets.
